Capital Health: Creating sustainable healthcare buildings

Healthcare buildings should be well-designed, sustainable, safe, healthy and productive whilst providing a quality internal environment to support health and well-being for users.

They need to Integrate with the local environment and meet the needs of local communities, with flexibility and adaptability to meet changing needs.

Their design should incorporate materials and products that reduce environmental and health impacts whilst considering whole life performance and long-term asset value targets.

Capital Health is a half-day morning Technical Seminar covering the latest innovations and use of products in the healthcare sector and how designers, consultants and manufacturers are collaborating to create well-designed, healthy and energy efficient hospitals and healthcare buildings.
