Hear from the team behind The Leadenhall Building, who will give an in-depth presentation on the design, delivery and construction of one of the City’s latest towers, located in the heart of the global insurance industry, which faces another Richard Rogers designed building, Lloyd's of London.
The Leadenhall Building, a joint venture between British Land and Oxford Properties, is a 47-storey tower currently under construction. The development's tapering shape has been designed to 'lean away' from St Paul's Cathedral when viewed from the west, whilst the scale of the seven storey landscaped open space at the base of the building, covering nearly half an acre, is unprecedented in London.
With construction now well underway, and practical completion to shell and core scheduled for mid-2014, the development team will give a detailed insight into the delivery of this tower, covering the design concept through to the innovative techniques used in its construction.
