Many of London’s most successful places, from the Southbank to Shoreditch, Covent Garden and Clerkenwell have emerged over time from a strong sense of cultural activity and identity.
With a wealth of new masterplans and districts being planned for brownfield sites and regeneration areas across London: from Earls Court to Stratford and Nine Elms to Deptford, this special extended NLA breakfast talk will look at how ‘culture’ is playing an increasing role in driving the creation of London’s newest places, influencing attitudes to temporary spaces and even offering new approaches to the design of our infrastructure.
Please note this is an extended breakfast talk, due to finish at 10:15.
