AJ Specification Live is a new series of free monthly AJ events, in association with NLA, with afternoon talks providing in-depth information into design and specification, building materials and construction methods, followed by networking drinks.

The third event of the series will focus on the design and specification of structure and services products, as featured in AJ Specification’s May issue.

Speakers will discuss:  
  • the structure and services and the use of BIM on the upgrade of the historic Manchester Central Library
  • the coordination of the structural and services engineering for The Crystal
  • architecturally integrated solutions to challenging projects such as the Hurlingham Club Outdoor Pool
  • Canford School biology lab, a partly prefabricated  lightweight single-storey timber-framed pavilion
  • performance driven design and integration of structure and services at St Ambrose College, Manchester
  • the coordination between structural, MEP and architecture for Mayfield Secondary School, a full BIM project

  • This event is intended for architects involved in the design process, consultants, contractors and clients.
  • Registration restricted for product manufacturers and suppliers.
