Sustainable Suburbia: A Walkable Garden Suburb
New housing in England continues to be built on an average of 25 dwellings per hectare (dph) although more than half of this is built at less than 20 dph. Far greater densities could be achieved, which would bring the benefits of walkable communities, sustainable public transport and lower infrastructure costs while still allowing privacy and security.

This exhibition will showcase the findings of a new report, by MJP Architects, which examines the possibilities and benefits of higher suburban housing densities.
