The Architects’ Journal Small Projects exhibition is a chance to see 24 of the best new small-scale architectural gems. From ingenious houses to clever workspaces; from garden retreats to sustainable studios, the exhibition – featuring drawings, photographs and models – celebrates just what can be achieved on a tight budget.
AJ Small Projects, run in association with Marley Eternit, is an annual competition to discover the stand-out projects completed for £250,000 or less. All 24 shortlisted entrants have pitched their work at a live crit in front of a top-flight jury including architect Alison Brooks, creative director of Cathedral Properties Martyn Evans and the AJ editor Christine Murray.
This year’s AJ Small Projects are proof positive that design excellence is alive and well, despite the challenging economic climate. Get inspired!
