Tuesday 21 July 2009

RCA student Ian Douglas-Jones has been awarded the 2009 NLA Architecture Prize for his New Capital project.

The NLA Architecture Prize, in association with the Royal College of Art, is awarded each year to a student whose work, in the eyes of the judges, could add to the general delight, excitement and quality of life in the capital through their approach to urban design.

Past winners have been Finn Williams (2007) and Jonathan Pugh (2008).

An exhibition of the winning project ‘Towards New Capital’ will be on display in the NLA galleries until the 14th August.
