Google unveil plans for UK HQ at NLA conference

Friday 28 June 2013

AHMM's Simon Allford unveiled the practice's designs for the new Google UK HQ at King's Cross Central at the NLA conference on King's Cross and Euston this morning.

Allford said the scheme concentrates on providing big, flexible workspaces with character plus a promenade and playground floors and is geared towards social interaction.

'It is turning the campus into a 3D puzzle rather than a ground floor one', he said.

The scheme is now in for planning and Argent's Robert Evans said he hoped for a planning committee date later this year.
