NLA chairman Peter Murray, Wates Director Andy Wates, Studio Egret West's Christophe Egret, and dRMM Architects Director and design Chair of HS2 Sadie Morgan are cycling 125.7 miles from London to Birmingham on October 17th to raise money for Construction Youth Trust (CYT).
The aim is to raise £5,000, with your support we are confident that we can beat that target to help fund the fantastic work that CYT carry out and to help promote the construction industry and the interesting and exciting job prospects that it can offer to young people.
The riders are also aiming to raise the profile of CLOCS (Construction Logistics and Community Safety) which was set up by TfL to reduce the numbers of vulnerable road users killed and injured by construction vehicles.
Construction Youth Trust works with young people across England and Wales to help them overcome barriers and find work or training in the construction industry. They also provide CV and employability training and work with ex-offenders, people not in employment training or education, and students.
