What to expect at designjunction 2017…
designjunction returns to the spectacular King’s Cross site 21-24 September for this year’s annual London Design Festival. Following the success of the 2016 event, which attracted 27,000 visitors over five days, designjunction will expand across new King’s Cross locations.
Taking place across five destinations including Cubitt House and Cubitt Park, The Canopy, Granary Square and The Crossing – a mix of global furniture, lighting, accessory, material and technology brands will exhibit alongside pop-up shops, installations, and interactive features. designjunction presents more than 200 of the world’s most iconic design brands to the world’s leading design professionals. It’s a junction connecting the industry – a place to meet, do business and be inspired.
Granary Square - centrally-located, Granary Square will feature headline projects including a new collaboration with Renault, a series of installations and the main designjunction Box Office.
Cubitt House will present a stellar line-up of international design brands across furniture, lighting and accessories – held within a customised temporary structure.
The ground floor houses lightjunction – a curated selection of international decorative lighting brands alongside innovative emerging design labels. On the top floor, a host of leading contract and residential brands will present their latest products.
New for 2017, Cubitt Park will house emerging designers, luxury homewares as well as The Material Collective – a collaboration with material experts the SCIN gallery – exploring materials of today and in the future.
The Canopy: The Shopping Destination - The Canopy is designjunction’s retail destination. This area is a temporary pop-up venue for a selection of premium retail brands and emerging design labels selling everything from high-end fashion accessories to cutting-edge technology, ceramics, glassware, stationery and more.
The Canopy is the key destination for international retail buyers as well as design-savvy consumers.
