Ian Caldwell

Director of Space Management and Facilities Advisor

King’s College London

Ian joined King’s College London in February 2002 as Director of Estates and Facilities where his responsibilities covered estates, facilities, project and development management and maintenance of the physical estate.

In July 2014 he became Facilities Advisor and Acting Director of Space Management at the College.

Ian’s role includes strategic oversight of space, design and sustainability to meet the College’s academic and financial objectives including the College’s redevelopment of its Strand campus in Central London, a new campus in SE London and supporting joint clinical and academic planning on shared campuses within King’s Health Partners. Ian is also Chairman of the Higher Education Quality Design Forum, a client forum of the Royal Institute of British Architects.
