Brian is a technical specialist in cycling at Transport for London.

He was one of the lead authors of the London Cycling Design Standards and has been at the forefront of cycle infrastructure design for many years.  His main role is to ensure design quality for all the elements of the Mayor’s Vision for Cycling programme including Quietways, Central London Grid, Mini Holland’s and Superhighways.  Follow him on twitter for technical information on cycle route design
