Marta Galinanes Garcia



Marta is a Director at AKT II working on a diverse range of projects. Her experience is broad and covers international projects including Puna Cricket Stadium with Hopkins and Gardermoen Airport Terminal 2 roof structure to Commonwealth House and the redevelopment of Blossom Street in London.

Current projects include the redevelopment of Smithfields to house the Museum of London with Stanton Williams and the new LSE Paul Marshal building with Grafton Architects which has recently started on site. Marta has a special interest in sustainability within the built environment and champions this within the office. In addition Marta formed part of the judging panel for the 2016 Ada Huxtable Prize and Moira Gemmill Prize for Emerging Architecture.
