Matt is a founder and Managing Director of Architecture Initiative, a design led commercial practice established in 2012, based in central London, working across all sectors but with a special interest in major urban, education led mixed development, including Northampton International Academy; one of the largest free school commissioned to date.

Matt is a strategist and an instigator who started his career at international practice Norman and Dawbarn, before joining GHM Rock Townsend as Managing Director: where he founded ‘Mentor', a collaborative design company which successfully delivered over £400m of education projects in the UK over a five year period.
