David Joyce

Director of Planning & Development, Business, Growth & Regeneration Delivery Cluster

LB Lambeth

David oversees one of London’s most dynamic and busiest built environment teams with responsibility for Planning and Building Control at Lambeth.

As well as steering one of the largest development pipelines in London (mayoral CIL receipts suggest more floorspace is being built in Lambeth than any other London Borough), David has steered Lambeth’s local plan successfully to ensure that the Council has a strong vision for accommodating growth, primarily in the opportunity areas of Waterloo, Vauxhall and Brixton, whilst also ensuring that the residents, workers and businesses in the borough can share in the benefits of investment.  David has also worked to ensure that the Council’s Building Control section has once again become a successful trading arm with a growing reputation.
