John joined Peabody in July 2016 as the Executive Director for Thamesmead. John is leading a comprehensive regeneration programme for Thamesmead which aims to create 20,000 new homes and 8,000 new jobs.

Previously, he spent six years as CEO of Letchworth Garden City Heritage Foundation, a self-funding charitable organisation re-investing for the long-term benefit of the local community.

John joined the Heritage Foundation from Milton Keynes Partnership, a subsidiary of the Homes and Communities Agency, where he was CEO.

John is a chartered surveyor and has a Master of Arts in Urban Regeneration. He is a Board member of Wellingborough Homes housing association.
