Professor Philip Ogden is Senior Adviser to the Principal at Queen Mary University of London, where he holds a Chair in Human Geography.

He has for many years been involved in overseeing the transformation of the university's campuses, involving both the renovation of listed buildings and the commissioning of new buildings for teaching and research. He has worked closely with a number of leading architectural practices. He is also Chairman of the St Paul's Way School Trust in east London and Chairman of Governors at Bancroft's School in Woodford Green. He has published widely on demography and urban regeneration in European cities
