Design South East

David is Head of Design Advice at Design South East. He joined Design South East in 2016 after eight years at our West-Midlands sister organisation MADE. He is an urban designer with 14 years’ experience of delivering design advisory services including design review panels, study tours and training events for local authority officers and members throughout the UK. For six years he managed an international urban design summer school. David is a trustee of the Chances Glassworks Heritage Trust which is aiming to regenerate a major industrial heritage site in Smethwick and a board member of The Nature of Cities, an international platform for transdisciplinary dialogue on nature-based urban solutions.
