This Directorate is within the TfL Group Planning area and he is responsible for three main functions: Land Use Planning for applications that are referable to the Mayor, and managing the relationship with the boroughs, including all of the sub regional panels. Prior to starting at TfL he worked for 18 years in the London boroughs, including as Assistant Director of the Culture & Environment Directorate at the London Borough of Camden from 2003 to 2007 and Director of Transport & Planning Policy at the London Borough of Ealing from 2000 to 2003.

The City in the East and Launch of London Riverside OAPF


This NLA breakfast talk saw the launch of the new ‘City in the East’ masterplan, which details how major development should take place from Canada Water to the Isle of Dogs and Greenwich Peninsula, right through to Ilford in Essex and Dartford in Kent, to transform this huge swathe of the capital.
