Sarah leads British Land’s 2020 Sustainability Strategy, integrating social and environmental matters into the heart of British Land’s strategy to create Places People Prefer.
British Land is one of Europe’s largest Real Estate Investment Trusts (REIT) and one of the country’s leading property developers. Sarah has a PhD in town planning and has worked on a range major mixed use projects across the UK. At British Land she has shaped over 45 large scale developments, including Regents Place, The Leadenhall Building (“Cheesegrater”), Canada Water, Whiteley Village and Glasgow Fort.
She is a Trustee of the Bootstrap Company in Dalston, chairs the British Property Federation Sustainability Committee and was named one of the 12 women influencing sustainable architecture by The Architect's Journal.
