10 Exchange Square

This new landmark, at the gateway to Exchange Square, is designed by international architects Skidmore Owings & Merrill. The majority of the 13,386 sq m (144,000 sq ft) office floor space has been let to leading lawyers Herbert Smith and global investment managers Western Asset.

As part of the development a new west entrance to Exchange Square has been created, adjacent to a dramatic galleria, which extends the full width of the building. SOM's design responded to Broadgate's need for a commercial office development that respects both the neighbouring buildings and the statutory protected view by which the site is controlled. The design solution presented the building as a pivotal part of the estate, placing greater emphasis on the utility of public space and creating a significant new cornerstone to Broadgate.
