The Shard

The Shard is located directly over London Bridge station. The tower will span over 70 stories and include 600,000sf of premier office space, a 5 star hotel, luxury apartments and mid and high level viewing galleries. At 306m, the mixed use tower is set to be one of the tallest buildings in Western Europe. It will provide densely packed, low energy multi-use accommodation, improving urban density with transport links to London and the South-east. Key features include integrated, centralised systems to improve operating efficiencies, a high performance externally ventilated façade, and a Combined Heat and Power plant capable of delivering 1500kWe.
