NLA, The Building Centre, 26 Store Street, London WC1E 7BT

A year since the London 2012 Games, NLA hosted a special breakfast talk in which Jason Prior, masterplanner for both the London 2012 and Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympic Games, gave an in-depth presentation on the masterplanning, landscaping and design of the Rio Olympic Park and discussed how far lessons from London 2012 influenced the design and delivery of major sporting events around the world.

An expert panel shrared their thoughts on the legacy of the 2012 Olympics in the way major construction projects are managed and delivered, and how far London 2012 opened up opportunities for a new generation of designers, engineers and contractors.
