This NLA half day conference will hear from retail experts, developers, boroughs, agents, architects and industry specialists to examine what the opportunities are for outer London’s high streets and town centres.
Following the publishing of The Grimsey Review looking at the state of the UK’s high streets and the recent appointment of High Streets Minister Brandon Lewis, there is a renewed appetite for bringing prosperity back to our town centres. With completely new high streets planned for Earls Court, Battersea and elsewhere, the GLA’s Outer London Fund projects in full swing and the economy starting to turn the corner, what are the challenges and opportunities for London’s town centres?
