Walking Tours of the Great Estates: Regent Street and Soho

As part of the current NLA exhibition Great Estates: How London's landowners shape the city, NLA invited a series of the Great Estates featured in the exhibition to lead walking tours of their estates.

The aim of each tour is to provide a general introduction to the history and development of the estate, visiting any significant new architecture, development and public realm improvements, and providing an understanding of the future ambitions for the development of the estate.

Tours last 1 - 1,5 hours and have to be booked in advance (cost: £12 inc. VAT) - please use the links below to book. Please note that all tours take place at the same time, so you will only be able to book and attend one.

On Wednesday 11 December, 14:00-15:30, the following estates will lead tours of their estate:

Crown Estate - Regent Street 
Meeting at The Crown Estate’s headquarters, the tour will involve an overview of recent and ongoing developments, as well as insight into the retail strategy with a look at some of the latest retailers who have joined Regent Street.

Soho Estates 
The walk will take in Leicester Square, Walker's Court, Dean Street, finishing at Foyles on Charing Cross Road.

Meeting point: Corner of Leicester Place and Leicester Square, just outside Häagen Dasz, and directly opposite Premier Inn Hotel
