A free NLA breakfast talk examined the role that historic buildings can play in contributing to economic growth, through repair and adaptation for new uses.
Drawing on the new publication "Constructive Conservation - Sustainable Growth for Historic Places", English Heritage presented some of the best case studies from across the UK, while a series of speakers presented London case studies that illustrate how developers, architects and boroughs have worked together to find new uses for historic sites in the capital.
