This NLA On Location event, organised in conjunction with LB Hackney and part of the Hackney House series, will bring together key decision makers, developers, architects, occupiers, and investors to examine current activity in Hackney, drivers of change and the impact these are having on the mix of occupiers and their needs, as well as ambitions and future opportunities for the area.

Hackney today is a haven of hip and trendy places to live, work and play. It has been declared the cycling capital of London and through the Olympic Legacy will experience significant growth over the coming years. It is a City Fringe borough and a centre for major regeneration projects.

Hackney’s importance to the digital, creative and cultural industries is reflected in a range of projects from smart flexible offices in ‘Tech City’ around Old Street to new retail, residential and public realm schemes in Hackney Central and Dalston.

The morning conference will be followed by a networking lunch and afternoon walking tours, visiting new architecture and developments of interest across the borough.
