NLA will be taking part in a a vibrant street party style “shindig” on Saturday 19 October, as part of the Bloomsbury Festival. The 'Store Street Shindig' is a street takeover party free for everyone to enjoy, offering a wide range of fun and creative activities across all ages.
Highlights included beer keg rolling from Adnams Cellar & Kitchen Store, live music from the Icarus Club from the famous Foote’s Music Store, a real ale festival in The College Arms and delicious tasters from the street’s restaurants such as Busaba Eathai, The Life Goddess and Café Deco.
NLA ran a series of events during the Shindig to celebrate the opening of NLA's latest exhibition, 'Great Estates: How London's landowners shape the city'. The exhibition was free to enter and all events were also free!
