As part of the NLA exhibition on Smarter London, NLA are offering a series of late openings and special curator-led tours led by NLA chairman, Peter Murray.

We live in the Age of Digital Information. Every part of our city – our buildings, services, transport and movement – can be recorded, designed, controlled or monitored using computer technology. Individually these pieces of information are smart – we can manage building energy systems, traffic lights and the movement of buses. The spread of new technologies and the coordination of all this data has the potential to make cities even smarter.

Anyone is free to come along to this late night opening, with no need to register in advance. Galleries will be open until 20:00 and there will be a cash bar.

If you want to hear more about the exhibition and NLA Insight Study into Smarter London, you can register for a free curator led tour with exhibition curator Peter Murray, starting at 18:00. Please register via the link on this page.

This is the first of three late openings and curator-led tours, they will also take place on Wednesday 26 November and Wednesday 3 December - bookings for these opening soon.
