Wednesday 25 February 2015

09:00 - 11:30 (registration from 08:30)

NLA, The Building Centre, 26 Store Street, London WC1E 7BT

This NLA half-day briefing session provided an update on London Riverside and the public sector strategies and aspirations for regeneration and investment in this key regeneration area for London.

The event launched the Mayor’s London Riverside Opportunity Area Planning Framework, which focuses on an area of over 3,000 hectares of east London covering part of the London boroughs of Newham, Barking and Dagenham, and Havering. How should this area of London be best used to provide for the rapid population growth the capital is experiencing? How can London make the most of the area’s industrial heritage and how can the process of housing and infrastructure delivery be sped up to make the most of this key regeneration opportunity for London?
