What's happening in your borough?

Monday 18 July 2016

18:30-20:30

New London Architecture, The Building Centre, 26 Store Street, London WC1E 7BT

Launching the NLA Boroughs stream and the updated Borough Strategies exhibition, this evening event will invite London boroughs to give a quick-fire presentations of their growth strategies. Come along to find out which areas are set to see the most change, how London’s projected growth is being accommodated, and how the boroughs are catering to their communites.

This will be the first event in a series dedicated to supporting central, inner and outer London authorities through the formation of a borough-wide network: creating a platform that enables councils to share best practice, present new opportunities for regeneration to the wider NLA network, and discuss common issues in this new era of austerity. The network aims to provide support to boroughs to allow them to remain resilient in all areas of delivery of their local area – a vital element in the ongoing development of London as a whole - and will form a range of events: from high-level roundtable discussions, to networking and public-centred discussions.
