NLA New Ideas for Housing at Ecobuild

Tuesday 8 March 2016

Ecobuild, ExCeL London, One Western Gateway, Royal Victoria Dock, E16 1XL

This year’s Ecobuild Fringe will feature an exciting NLA PechaKucha, hearing from innovative organisations presenting on their fresh thinking around the delivery of homes for Londoners.

The Ecobuild Fringe is a forum for people to present and discuss ideas and achievements unique in the UK, forming part of the wider Ecobuild three day conference. Addressing a variety of key topics, the 2016 Fringe will follow on from last year’s very popular event with a bigger and even more impressive line-up of talks, debate and events.
This lunch-time event of quick-fire presentations comes as part of New Ideas for Housing, a major insight study and exhibition by NLA which uncovered 100 new innovative ideas to solve the housing crisis, the result of a major NLA International Ideas Competition organised in collaboration with the Mayor of London. The event will feature a selection of both practical and more radical ideas: from urban intensification, new shell and core housing typologies, and densifying the suburbs.

To register for this event you will need to register for Ecobuild and will give you access to the full 3 day event - click here to register
