Spoken Word at ‘Step Out Store Street’ - Bloomsbury Festival 2016

Friday 21 October 2016

18:00 – 20:30

The Building Centre, 26 Store Street, London WC1E 7BT

Bloomsbury Festival is back for 2016 with a jam-packed line-up of art, music and science, events and performances, celebrating this year’s theme of ‘language’ in one of London’s most culturally exciting neighbourhoods.

‘Step Out Store Street’, the Bloomsbury festival’s Friday night party, will see the street transformed by more than 100 artists and local dancers to become a public stage for different forms of dance.

New London Architecture and The Built Environment Trust will host an intimate evening celebrating the use of language in the built environment. Using the 12.5 metre New London Model of central London as a backdrop, live performances from a selection of London poets and spoken word artists will draw on themes of the city, urban development and London’s architecture.

Drop in, explore our galleries and enjoy some live performance around our model

This event is free - no booking required.
