The significance of this particular area within The City Fringe to London’s economic growth and wider knowledge economy is vast. Home to the most diverse range of digital and creative businesses, what new occupiers is this cluster attracting?

Major new developments such as Principal Place, Shoreditch Village, and Bishopsgate Goodsyard are set to have a huge impact on the area - what effect is this having on the commercial and residential offer? What improvements to transport and public realm are being made to match this growth in employment? With innovative new builings such as White Collar Factory, and new occupiers such as Amazon, and a major update to Old Street Roundabout taking shape, how do we retain the area’s character whilst ensuring the business ecosystem continues to thrive?

NLA will bring together key council officers, developers, occupiers, property consultants and architects to examine the area, looking at the impact of major projects across transport, public realm and office stock, and discussing how we retain what makes this area so unique.

Topics include:
- The new commercial offer
- What do creatives want?
- Old Street Roundabout, the gateway to Tech City
- Retaining the area’s character
- Fostering entrepreneurship

The morning conference will be followed by a networking lunch, and afternoon walking tours will cover key areas of development - key timings for the day and tour areas can be found below.
