Lumiere Festival

Friday 19 January 2018

South Crescent, Store Street, London, WC1E 7BT

Bigger, brighter and bolder, the Lumiere London light festival returns for a spectacular second edition - with installations taking place by The Building Centre

For the first time, Store Street features in Lumiere London and from Thursday 18 January - Sunday 21 January, installations will light up the sky by The Building Centre, each night from 5.30pm to 10.30pm.

Arriving early on Friday? If you want to beat the rush, why not visit our exhibitions and the Gentlemen Barista's cafe. Please note the Building Centre will be closed on Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 January.

Be amazed by Simeon Nelson’s spectacular light sculpture, Cosmoscope, on Store Street, inspired from the study of the universe, blood flowing through the human heart and the order and disorder of atoms and molecules. This luminous installation explores the patterns, structures and similarities of these scientific areas.

A-Bit Immersive
Watch and interact as Imagination (UK) transforms the facade of their distinctive building in South Crescent on Store Street with A-Bit Immersive. This unique installation allows you to explore the architecture with your own physical interaction. Part installation, part game, the installation uses active participation to show its full effect.
