King's Cross Charrette

Friday 31 August – Saturday 29 September 2007

This is the second year that The Architects’ Journal has run a charrette (a one-day design exercise) with Argent, the developer of the huge area behind King's Cross railway station.

This year 20 young practices were given a wedge-shaped site adjoining the railway lines and given just seven hours to come up with an urban-design solution. The results can be seen in this new exhibition.
