Family Storytelling - London Stories

There are as many stories of London as the millions of people who live here. There are tall stories and short stories, folk stories and silly stories, myths and legends and adventures around every corner. Come and listen to our storyteller take you on a journey through our city’s streets, ancient and modern, meeting a cast of motley characters along the way.

Free Family Drop-In - Inspiration Station

This year for the Bloomsbury Festival we’re celebrating the area’s rich heritage as a place for creative expression of all types. Come along to our drop-in zone around the New London Model to create your own poetry, art and drawings inspired by the architecture and history of Bloomsbury.

Record turnout for Don’t Move, Improve! Design Surgeries


On Saturday 25 February, the NLA galleries were awash with over 600 visitors gaining free advice and insight from home extensions experts. The packed day of events included 160+ one-to-one consultation sessions, two hour-long talks, and tours and drawing workshops to entertain and engage children in London’s built environment.
